This Nakamichi TD-300 is a auto-reverse stereo car cassette/tuner with Dolby B and C noise reduction, it was first sold by Nakamichi in 1986 with a manufacturer suggested retail price of USD $400 and discontinued a year later.

The main features of the Nakamichi TD-300 are: 1 head, belt driven single-capstan transport.

Tape loading/unloading is operated motorized and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well.

Dolby C-type used in the TD-300 provides 20 dB of noise reduction above about 1,000 Hz, fully doubling the amount given by B-type.
