This is the Unofficial Nakamichi Cassette Deck resource since 1997

The Compact Cassette medium was first introduced at the Berlin Radio Show in August 1963.

In 1973, the Nakamichi brand was launched with the 1000 and 700 cassette decks. These two models, the world's first fully discrete three head cassette decks, were largely responsible for establishing the cassette deck as a viable source of high fidelity audio recording and reproduction. From that legendary beginning, the Nakamichi brand has introduced a series of revolutionary breakthroughs in both cassette technology and music reproduction quality that have continually redefined the standard of excellence in audio reproduction performance.
