Nakamichi 700II

3 Head Cassette System

Nakamichi 700II

When first introduced in 1973, the Nakamichi 700 offered the essential performance of the world renowned Nakamichi 1000 at a comparatively modest price.

These were the first cassette decks to incorporate three separate heads: erase, record and play. They were the first to feature user adjustable head azimuth. The first to incorporate a full IC logic transport. And they were the first cassette decks to offer frequency response out to an honest 20,000 Hz.
