Double Dolby NR processors and a top performance Discrete Three Head system make this deck the star of the 480Z series. It offers, in addition to extraordinary reproduction quality, simplified features and functions for extra operating convenience. Dolby C noise reduction achieves 20 dB reduction in noise in the 2 kHz to 8 kHz range, and a +10% fine bias adjustment control ensures the highest reproduction accuracy from any type of tape. There's also a wide range LED peak level meter that makes it easy to set precise record levels.
