Nakamichi 481Z

Discrete Head Cassette Deck

Nakamichi 481Z

The same Discrete Three Head system and Dolby C noise reduction as the 482Z without real time monitoring.

The 481Z employs the same Dolby processors for both record and playback so you don't get real time monitoring capability, but you do get the same superb sound quality as provided by the 482Z. The 481Z's Discrete Three Head system, Asymmetrical, Diffused Resonance, Dual Capstan Transport and Dolby C noise reduction system are exactly the same as those of the 482Z. You also get fine bias adjustment capability and 40 dB to +10 dB wide range LED peak level meters. An optional remote control unit (RM-100) is available for convenient transport control.
