2-Head Cassette Deck

The Nakamichi 350 is an engineering marvel. For the very first time one can have a compact cassette deck that gives state of the art performance just about anywhere.

With its mounting bracket, it can be used in car , boats, planes, .. (the 350 was designed to mate with the ADS sub miniature speaker systems). Using the AC Power Pack makes it a superb home music system component. And, even better, with its optional heavy duty carrying case, which has a rechargeable 12 volt lead acid battery built in, the 350 becomes a compact on location recorder. Features include the Nakamichi regulars: Focused Field Crystal Permalloy head, servo controlled DC drive motor, precision transport, 3 Microphone inputs, headphone output, tape selector and Dolby Noise Reduction. The single 35 dB range peak meter indicates the higher of both channels at any given instant. The 350 is obviously much more than an exercise in miniaturization.
